One specific Quote I would like to bring up and Brett Favre also talked highly:
On Antoine Winfield: "May be one of the most underrated corners in the league, as far as his toughness and coverage ability."
This has long been discussed with fans here and I've always believed he was solid in coverage and certainly above average. Take it from two pros who study his film at least twice a year.
Re: Rodgers high on Vikings D
I hope he likes eating turf and picking grass out of his nose
Re: Rodgers high on Vikings D
haha, those are definitely some out of the ordinary comments coming from a rival QB these days, but hey, can't hate the guy for it.

One of my favorite players in the game, hate to say it, but now I can't COMPLETELY hate A-Rod

I think he's just getting ready for an ass wip'n, he's already begun his post game interviews.
Re: Rodgers high on Vikings D
Rodgers is gonna be more than high, after Edwards, Allen, Kevin, and Pat give him a nice massage on the way to that turf salad on Lamblow's field.
Re: Rodgers high on Vikings D
Just more of the oatmeal comments that NFL players give these days.
Of course Rodgers said nice things.
He doesn't want to provide anything for the Vikies to hate on him for.
For him, the intensity is already high enough, the last thing he wants is a psyched up Viking Defense looking to eat his lunch for him.
No one says anything "real" anymore.
They can't.
Because if they do, and they're wrong, they look stupid.
Or, worse, they tick the other team off so bad that they come in and stomp the mouth who shot it off to the press.
So, instead, everyone spends all their media face time telling the press how wonderful everyone else is, and how much they respect everyone else, and how they really do wish those other guys were on their team, blah blah blah.
It's all BS.
No one has the stones to call it like it is anymore.

Caine
which made Jared Allen's comments all the more refreshing
Quote:
Playing Green Bay on Monday night to start the season – that’s everything you want. Hopefully, I can put my helmet square in the back of [Rodgers'] spine. If I can do that and knock the ball loose, it’ll be a good day.
Re: Rodgers high on Vikings D
Aaron will be on his back a little less than Jackson. Kampman will have a field day and have 6 sacks in the first game.

That is why he is saying the nice things about the D, he wants them to go soft on him so the spine thing doesn't really happen.
LOL!
