a quote from rod davis, the vikings 5th rounddraft pick and former LINEBACKER for southern miss:

this guy led the nation in tackles last season and we got him in the 5th round. could he be right? did we get the s.o.d. for the second year in a row?

Well i think we did i like how these guys say this kinda stuff becuase then they back it up, just like Onterrio i think alot of teams are second guessing thereselves..hehehehe

Well you have to keep in mind most of the greatest players in history were passed up by a lot of teams at first

well it just seems to be the vikings brass keep talking about this system they have been using. and from a paper standpoint, it seems like a pretty good system. i'm at the point where i could think, "yeah, i can believe he could be the s.o.d. this year" why not? :scratch:

Page 3 of this forum had some nice posts on Rod Davis. Apparently he ran a 4.6 on his Pro Day (not slow). Also, I think he is one of only two guys Mel Kiper had tagged as keepers going into day two of the draft. The Vikes got both of those guys, Rod Davis, and M. Moore.
