Dudes,
For just once, I'd love to see this Vikings team peaking (instead of fading) at the end of the year. There's no better feeling as a fan than seeing your team peaking at the right time - like being the team that no one wants to face at the end of year (kinda like the Bills right now in the AFC). Those fast starts and gaudy recrods mean nothing if you're not hitting your stride at the end. I loved that '87 Vikes team when they hit their stride in the playoff games against the heavily favored Saints and 49ers - both were blowout victories on the road - Anthony Carter running wild returning kicks and punts for touchdowns - even after that gut-wrenching loss to the Redskins in the NFC Championship game, I was pretty proud to be a Vikes fan.
If our guys can just get some momentum going these last 3 games, maybe they can get that swagger back. The talent is here. It starts with Detroit.
By the way, there would be an added benefit to seeing the Vikes get hot and wreak havoc in the post season - seeing Bradshaw have to wipe that asshole smile off his face everytime he puts the Vikings down. That guy makes me puke.
