Regrets about Culpepper
I was wondering if anyone would regret trading Culpepper if he turns out to be the best QB in the NFL for the next 5 years. It would stink, but I would not regret it. We will be alright, and I would rather see discipline for my team.
We can solve poverty today.

Re: Regrets about Culpepper
I have no regrets either way. If he had stayed when he didn't want to, he would have caused trouble for the whole team! He wanted out, good riddence!

Re: Regrets about Culpepper
no regrets at all..hes going to stink even worse than last year behind that bad offensive line..not to mention the fact that hes unlikely to even play this season
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.

The Vikes once traded Tarkington only later on rejoin the Vikes and play in three Superbowls. I'm sure a day could come when the Vikes would re-sign Pep. That said, its not likely because Culpepper burned his bridges not only with the coaches, but also with management.
Gotta wonder if it was Foley trying to make room for Brees. It seems Foley ruffled his feathers in many different pots with many in the Vikings organization. Thoughts?

The Minnesota Vikings are the kings of seeing talent succeed elsewhere, but I like what we've got going now . . . and soon . . . it'll be our day!

Something or someone else pushed him to change almost overnight.
Was it the injury? His wife? We may never know.

Well I don't think it will happen, but I won't regret it. He didn't want to be a Vike anymore.

I think that DC is not done in the NFL. He will have his moments of good play but I think that he does not have the ablility to keep it all together for a whole season. That is his downfall and the reason he soon will be playing backup somewhere.
