Thread: REGGIE FOWLER - RENEWED PROSPECTIVE BUYER

As jackyl stated late in a different thread, KFAN, through sideline analyst greg coleman, has stated that Reggie Fowler is VERY close to buying the team right now. He has reportedly told someone that he is to move his organization from Arizona to Minnesota and that Glen Taylor is perhpas part of the financing campaign. PERFECT. If this is for real, it would be the perfect scenario. Coleman was guarded but extremely optomistic.

As most may already know, Reggie and Denny were interested in purchasing the team in the past, but never formally made an offer.

Just heard that myself on KFAN...sounds like it's almost a done deal...I think this will AOK!!! We're way too far under the cap to do any better than we did this year...looking forward to what's going to happen.

I predict doom if Fowler buys.

Why do you predict doom? Do you think he will move them? I think there should be something in writing that says whoever the next buyer is has to keep the team in the cities!!

They did say that Fowler was not a solo buyer, that it is along with Taylor and Hecker. 2 local boys, and Taylor would be moving his home and business to Minneapolis from AZ.

As long as Glen Taylor is in the mix!!
