Re: The refs made the right call on the Shiancoe catch

Sorry to say guys but it wasn't a catch.
I knew it the second that the ref called it.
He had no hesitation when he made the call.
Shiancoe knew it wasn't a catch.
This dink and dunk passing attack has to go!
What difference does it make for YAC if you aren't getting any?
I have only seen one play where there was at least decent YAC.
That was after Bobby Wade made the catch this week.
Sooner or later, we have to face the fact that the West Coast offense is a bust.
We have receivers who can run routes down field and get open if the play calls for it. Bevell has to start calling for some more plays thrown down field.

Re: The refs made the right call on the Shiancoe catch

I think Fergi could have ran a bit faster on that play too...so, some blame on both sides of that connection.

My point is that it was more than one bad call.
There were bull crap calls all game, and all for KC.
Several spots where a first down was just given to them.
Make it 4th and 1 and see what happens.
When we forced Huard to throw it away, the refs looked blind, yet they called intentional grounding on us that was less blatent.

True, we don't have a great team, but at least let them play the damn game!!

As for the chiefs playcalling, it was almost all pass until 2:00 minutes remaining when they had one three and out possession that was three runs...not much of a difference if you ask me.
But, sure, they would have tried harder on that one possession to score if they didn't have the lead...But, it seems obvious to me that we'd rather bet on our Defense late in the game than our Offense.

Yes and the burden is on the defense and sooner or later, the defense is going to start commenting again.
They are human, they are going to start speaking out.
Then you have a big problem and the team will not be one, but divided.

    Straight from the Shank's mouth:

"I thought it was a touchdown. I caught the ball solid. I had my elbows under it. The ball never touched the ground. But I'm not a ref. I don't get paid to make calls. They made the call, and that's what it is," said Shiancoe

It also looked like Holcomb missed a WIDE open Ferguson that would have resulted in a touchdown as well.
    Ferguson stuttered on the route.
Holcomb put the ball exactly where it needed to be, but Turd Fergunson couldn't come up with it.

I think we should let the other Turd Furgunson try out, it can't be any worse

They showed Shiancoe after the ref said it was incomplete and Shiancoe very surprised it was called incomplete. The camera cut away so the kiddies at home didn't see the words that were about to come out of his mouth.

What do you mean he knew it wasn't a catch most people when they fake it show the ball to the ref shiancoe got up and did a TD dance. How many people start dancing after they knew it wasnt a catch.

....However, a still frame pulled from video shot by 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS photojournalist Chad Whisnant clearly shows the ball touching the ground, making the call correct.
