Re: The refs made the right call on the Shiancoe catch

It is wrong to think that if we got that TD, everything happening after that would have been the same. It wouldn't. The Chiefs would have then played the game differently if we had 14 pts rather than 10.

Having said that, I am still upset about the call. We have a terrible offense and cannot afford to have the refs take points away from us.

The refs were snifin' glue. That wasn't the only blown call, they gave KC some very generous spots of the ball several times, resulting in first downs instead of punts.

    Hell no.

We need to blame the loss on this play or on the refs....it makes Vikings fans feel better.

Wow, if BB doesn't fumble against Detroit & the TD vs the Chiefs called correctly, we may be 3-0....lol. Ah man, the Pack may spank us this week.

    - Question, why didn't we throw downfield to Rice more? I mean, damn.....Bowe did it! We just don't take enough chances to keep opposing D's honest. AP is our entire offense right now.

ALL FLIPPIN DAY LONG THE REFS WERE WEARING RED AND WHITE!!
Might as well let Herm Edwards ref from the sidelines!!

And, here's the deal boys, they came out throwing on us in the second half anyway, I'm not seeing that their game plan would have changed at all if it had been 14-3 instead of 10.
If anything, it might have given our Defense a bit of an edge, knowing that they needed to score...

I saw that ball in both hands until after he was lying on the turf, no bobbling whatsoever!
    Bull Crap Call.
Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!

    Bull.
They were working hard to run the clock out in the fourth, and we were trying hard to get the ball down field quickly.
If Shank's TD would have counted, KC would have continued to pass against us (which they were doing somewhat successfully in the second half), and we would have been content to burn as much time as possible off from the clock.

The game would have been different.
I don't know if we would have won or lost, but it would have been different, and if anybody tries to say that that one blown call cost us the win, they are reaching.

I'm fully convinced he caught that ball.
Both hands securely on the ball, until he hits the turf.
If it gets loose at that point it no longer matters-ground caused the fumble...
Actually you have to have control all the way through, and the ground can cause an incomplete pass, and actually the ground can cause a fumble if you are not touched.

I'd love to see the footage that they have, the ref was right there and should have got the call right, but from the angles we saw it looked like an obvious catch.
I know I had it as a bad call against the Vikes, hopefully something is leaked.
I know the NFL has pretty tight rules on who can show video from games.
it s not a sport until someone gets hit.

Looked like a catch to me.

It also looked like Holcomb missed a WIDE open Ferguson that would have resulted in a touchdown as well.
