Alright? So the refs blew a call or two? Yeah, it was unfair, but pooh happens... it's dumb to wish your team lost though, IMO...yeah, i do have a problem with how we could only beat the Lions in the final seconds of the game, that worries me, because we need to be a better team than that...but I sure as hell will take the win...

You should be unhappy about the poor play today and how that kind of football will keep us from the playoffs if it keeps up, not unhappy about a win, even if it could have been bogus...like Ultra said, both teams blew opportunities...
The fact is that bad reffing is just a part of football...
Its interesting how when the calls go our way then its just a part of the game but if those calls had been AGAINST us then the same people would be screeming that the refs cost us a win. We cant have it both ways, truth is what it is, the refs allowed us the opportunity to win......not the team.
Had the Vikings been screwed over by the refs like that, yeah, I'd be pretty pissed off...however, I wouldn't blame the game on them, because there is never a good reason for your team to have to rely on a ref's mistake for a win- or blame him for the loss, because it means your team played like crap and/or had plenty of missed opporitunities.
The Lions had missed opporitunities, and if they would have taken advantage of them, the ref's call shouldn't have mattered...we also had our fair share of missed opporitunites, that's for sure.
Both teams played pretty crappy today, we just came out on the lucky end.

...It's not like the Lions were heading anywhere this year anyway
    ;D

    Lions:

    5 sacks
    1 INT
    4 FF
    1 blocked field goal

    and an L.
Is it even possible to be a fair weather Lions fan?

Did the refs "hand" us the win on the 20 yard pass interference on Allison?
I was at the game on the opposite end zone
side so I couldn't really see it.

Maybe we didn't deserve to win today, but the Colts probably didn't deserve to win in week 2 so I'd say we're even.
Bad call or not, we outplayed the Lions.

    We had 6 sacks

Turnovers weren't that bad.. 3-1 Lions.. The 4 FF look alot worse

And blocked field goals don't turn into points.. Just takes away a couple

They did decent but couldn't hold us back when it mattered

Yeah yeah yeah.....what we need to do is get back to the fundamentals of football....we fumble the ball toooooo dang much which is a fundamental skill of football, and something easy to prevent!

Our offense ripped it up today stat wise....we threw for 300 yards and had a good day from the runners but everytime we had momentum to score we would fumble!

Its not the play calling.....its not our coach.....its our players!
Hold on to the damn ball and there would have been a bunch of points to go with our great stats!

and on a side note....we have a bunch of Viking haters in this forum!
We did what we needed to do to get the win....last week we scored 30 points and did what we needed to do to get the win.....

We have been screwed by refs calls (4th and 1 in Tennessee, the entire packer game ) and we have reeped the benefits of calls (today) so stop whining and enjoy the win and our share of the division lead!

So, all the bitching over the years about how we get jobbed by the refs all the time.

Now, we have two games in which we had a few breaks, and some of you are now bitching about that?

Let's just create a PERMAWhiner forum and put those with permanent sticks in their jiggly butt in there.
It would stink less where people are actually trying to enjoy football and a few wins.

    Cripes.

People are making way to much sense on this thread
    :P

AD 2 fumbles can't happen, don't care who you are, AD or not he deserves to be criticized for it. Hang on to teh damn ball. Ryan Cook Is there game where he doesn't make a stupid penalty? I know the NFL keeps stats for everthing, I wonder how many Holding/False Start penalties he has had thsi year and in how many games, it seems like he has had at least 1 a game.
