The "Purple Pride" of former Vikings owner Red McCombs hasn't waned in the three seasons since he sold the team to the Wilfs....

I'm expecting about a 4-6 paragraph rant from Caine on this one.

Then again I find it amazing that the media can blaim the dropped passes on Philly's "hiccup" against the Skins, but when we fumble 7 times it was a "disaster".....

Re: Red McCombs still closely follows Minnesota Vikings
So the new owner turns the culture of the team around, shells out serious cash for free agents and helps lead this team to their first playoff berth in several years, and all we can talk about is our FORMER owner?
Ok.

See even his family don't like sitting with the old goat.. probably because he charges them a $1 every time they put their hand in the popcorn bucket.McCombs said he watches all of the Vikings' games, mostly alone at his home because he still gets so fired up.Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

Re: Red McCombs still closely follows Minnesota Vikings
Seriously.
Why are they writing a piece about a former owner, when the owner we have now is 100 times better?
Either write something about the upcoming playoff game or don't write anything.
I don't need to read fluff pieces about nothing.
I really don't like our media that covers the team very much.
I think they could help get a stadium if they weren't such negative nancies all the time.

That yutz Marrdro is 100% convinced of it and usually won't let it go when he is on that soapbox...Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
