Record Setting: AP
RB Adrian Peterson has already broken/tied numerous NFL and
team records in only 8 games as a Viking and is pushing to break several
more. In Week 9 vs. San Diego, Peterson broke the NFL record for
the most rushing yards in a single game when he rushed for 296
yards and 3 scores against the Chargers.
That performance shattered his previous record-setting feat three
weeks earlier at Chicago when he broke the Vikings record for rushing
yards in a single game with 224; the previous record was held by Chuck
Foreman (200). Peterson also tied a team record vs. San Diego and
at Chicago with his 3 rushing TDs in each game, only the 10th and
11th times it has happened in Vikings’ history. He also set a Vikings
record as the fi rst player to have 2 runs of 50+ in a game when he rushed
for a 73-yard TD and a 62-yard TD.

Simply Amazing. 8 games into this young kid's career, and when you sit back and look at what he's accomplished already... it's really staggering. Cheers... here's to at least 5 more years of this!!!
Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

AD being helped off the field with a possible knee injury.
Not to pour salt on any wounds here...
I just want to make the point here that this is the reason why he was passed down to slot 7.

Re: Record Setting: AP
He went down with a thigh bruse, and Childress even said he was running up and down the sideline and was ready to go back in.
So I don't really think this is one of those injury worries, happens to anyone.
