    Re: Reciever depth cart?

U mean you expect Williamson to be like Donte Stallworth?

Yeah, he could definitely fit that role.

WE have so much talent and unique Wide Receivers that they could start and play more/ less in differnet games, depending on their strengths and weaknesses against the other team. Some might be better against cover 2 than a man to man system. I would see the bigger receivers play against cover two and like williamson could see alot more action against a team like the lions who culp always throws deep on
    Vikings 1
    Lions 2
    Bears 3
    Packers 4

    Burleson
    Taylor
    Williamson
    Robinson
    Campbell
    Howry

BTW, does anyone know if we are going to run 5 WR sets every once in a while? I know last year in a interview Tice said only 4 WR sets. But if we do run 5 WR, that will be sick. I also would love to see alot of 2 TE sets.

I hope he is not like Stallworth in the injury dept. Personally, I think Williamson will develop into a much better player than Stallworth. Especially considering that Culpepper is an order of magnitude better than Brooks in the QB dept.

yeah, that's it. Donte Stallworth, I am not sure why i couldn't remember his name.

that is who williamson reminds me of. what i mean by catching TD's is he, at least for his rookie season, will look stallworth does every season. Stallworth has 2 receptions at most a game, sometimes none, and 1 is usually a TD, even though he the #2 reciever for the saints--one would think he'd get more looks. williamson will be much the same--2 to 3 receptions a game or less or none and TD's in a third of the games. at least that is what i expect.

Donte Stallworth blows, I hope Williamson turns out better than him.

I think that Williamson will be the solid No. 2 by the third week of the season unless Taylor really comes out like a stud ... which is possible ... I think that Robinson will be mostly used in the red zone.

    Re: Reciever depth cart?

    Burleson Taylor (left)

    Williamson Robinson (right)

    Campbell floating

I think this is what we'll c once we get into the rythem of offence.. with the TE situation we could cover inside slants, midField, and at least 1 deep possibly 2. i'm really excited as this is a great combination to have. ok we lost some of the POW in our air attack without moss, but the complete package is looking like something we havn't had in a while. all we need is the RB's to gel and this receiving core to prove to everyone that 1 man doens't make an offence!!!

and when d's think that they can ease up on coverage as we don't have moss now, we will probably see a lot more of D.C. scrampeling dishing to the dynamic TE's or shouldering out and laying flat D-ends who arn't ready for a monster QB to layum on their backs!! this will open up lots of the field for Nate and Troy to go long.

    just a couple thoughts..

    DiGiTaL

estimated # of Farve passes Sharper will intercept?
    All in his area!!!
