Re: the REAL problem
McNabb has always had at least one weapon (i.e TO, Stallworth). You might only have one weapon but it's one more than we've got right now. Our only deep threat & big play maker can't catch.

Stallworth only this year.
Last time I checked, he has been in the league more than 2 years.

Yeah...uhhh.. I guess Rice did'nt help Montana ,and TO did'nt help McNabb... I could keep going on. Besides, my point is that TJ ALREADY looks good lets see what happens when horrible players dont drop passes!

He looks ok, I am not satisfied yet to say he looks good.
Especially after this game.
I realize there have been some drops and he is a rookie.

Re: the REAL problem
I agree....somewhat.
Brad is not the QB we need. You're right...he is not the right fit for us at this time. His decision making was awful at times this year.
Our offensive line and our receivers do take some of the blame though. The drops and poor blocking for 2/3 of the season killed us.
Chester is NOT overrated. The guy has 1200 yards this year and has been a workhorse. He deserves nothing but respect. Some fumbles have hurt us, yes, but not every running back is going to be LT and never fumble. Look at Ahman Green and Tiki Barber, both of those guys had HUGE problems with fumbles but were still Pro Bowlers. They haven't been chronic either, just untimely.
Our defense has some very good players on it, and we're a few additions away from being dominant all the way around. K-Will and Pat have stood out, but EJ and Napo have been solid, Leber has been great, Sharper is still one of the better safeties in the league, Smith has played well, AW plays his ass off every year and is the best tacking corner in the league and Griffen has played exceptionally well for being a rookie.
We're a corner or two and a dominant linebacker away from being a great team against the run and the pass.
Childress has made a lot of mistakes this year, and I hope he learns from them. He does not adjust to things very well IMO, and his offense is not imaginative. I want to see what he does with another year or two to get his own players and his own scheme in place. If he still fails after that, then we can call him a bad coach.
Another member brought this up too....would you want to play for a guy that benches you at the first sign of trouble? Although it never worked out, I for one am glad that he left Smoot, Brad Johnson, M. Johnson and Artis Hicks in for as long as he did. No one wants to play for a coach with a quick hook. You want to know your coach has your back.

Re: the REAL problem
I find that now that smoot has picked off favre and returned it for a td, i don't dislike him as much as a used to. Anybody (or at least any Viking) who does that earns a special place in my heart, like Devonte did.
