I actually believe Ray Edwards is one of our weeker positions on the defence.
Playing on a line stacked with the tallent we have he should have been far more productive then he was.
Though we have demanding needs at some other positions I would like to see a change at his position.
You do realize he was playing out of position last year don't you?
Surprise, surprise. Our staff likes to do that don't they.
    :
    Tell me about it.
Remember when they had Kenechi play RDE and everyone thought he sucked.
    :
    He did suck.
Ray was out of position and still played well.
LOL, excuse me if I [s]disagree with you[/s] don't share your opinion.
    ;D

UDEZE is the man!!!.. i agree jessejames, i hope he comes back and rips pooh up this year too... but i'm sure the year away he may need time to get acclimated again...

and ray is just an average DE

Most gauge a DE's success by his sacks and sack alone...... :'(

Did he get that bonus for breaking the sack record that he predicted in the pre season or did he fall short by a few?

Im not basing this on sacks alone.. Ray is an average DE

Solid pass rusher and solid run stopper

He's not a game changer or above average.. He does he job well.. And that's it

Good for a sack every couple games or so.. And good for a couple tackles a game

You would think he would be better by almost never getting double teamed or chipped... But hey he is still ok and growing.. He is a young guy

Pretty hard to have "Game Changers" at every position.

As to Ray, he did fine out there last year all things considered.
He played the run OK, got pressure (drew alot of penalties as well) as he played out of position.

If he wouldn't have made that "Brash" claim, no one would be saying he had a bad year IMHO.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

    Oh for sure man

I think people were expecting the PPE's 2

He is a solid DE and growing into a more complete player
