Re: Raonnal smith out of a job?

Smith I think struggles alittle in practice but when he is in the game he is a playmaker....Does anyone else remember his game last year against the Titans? The guy was everywhere and had an Int!!! I say keep him and consider starting him over DT.

Re: Raonnal smith out of a job?

At what point do we have to cut our losses with Smith? He obviously can't stay healthy, and is getting outplayed by player with 2 less seasons under their belt. What is the point of keeping a player that never seems able to play. Let's develop someone else.

I'd like Smith to stay also, decent back-up.... But on the flip-side, this is the NFL and you only get so many chances. If he's outplayed, he's got to go.

I like Smith, I do, but if Davis is playing better than him then by all means play Davis instead of Smith!! I have full confidence in Tice's decisions.

This isn't a case of 2 guys that play the same position, battling for the roster spot. Rod Davis is a MLB and Raonall is a WLB. When EJ was moved to WLB, DT moved to 2nd string and raonall dropped down to 3rd. This bumped up Rod Davis to backup MLB. I think since Rod Davis played really well on friday and raonall didn't do that great, davis has the slight edge right now.

I wouldn't mind seeing us move DT to backup MLB, if EJ stays at WLB and keeping raonall as a backup WLB. DT played extremely well at MLB last season and also in his senior year at Auburn.

Tice has a history of using various media outlets for motivation. Just saying.
I can bench press my own body weight. And I weight 2,000 pounds.
