Raonall Smith will he play again?
"Linebacker Raonall Smith, who suffered a pair of concussions last month, still has not been cleared to practice. If he can't practice next week, Tice indicated he might place Smith on injured reserve."
This is part of an article in todays Red Star & Tribune.
Raonall had looked like he could become a very good backup linebacker or maybe a starter for the Vikes, his special teams play was outstanding!
After the injuries he suffered his first two seasons I was pulling for the guy to have a good career
But concussions 2 weeks in a row and he hasn't practiced for 5 weeks, is this not the NFL? Toughen up Raonall and lets get back on the field, we need the help on special teams. What we've got here is failure to communicate.

I wish it was about toughening up, but this is in the doctors hands now.
Concussions are serious.
He has probably had a lot of minor concussions and now they happen more frequently and more noticably. If that is the case, we won't be able to count on him. He might be done playing if it doesn't get better.
We have seen this with QBs a lot. Jim Miller comes to mind.

Raonall Smith will he play again?
Let's hope he can come back soon. The guy plays with alot of emotion. It nice to see that intensity from a linebacker. :salute:

Recurring concussions are not an injury that one can play through. If the team doctors, who should know best, indicate that he is not ready to go that is the best for his health.
I miss they guy. From the plays I saw him in earlier in the season he looked like he would be a great part of the linebacker squad. It seems since he has been out the linebacker crew has gone into the worst play of their season.fe4c0bdee276bad61c4dc5468ded7032

It was not the team doctors, it was a doctor from out east that recommended he not play!
Favre (boo) played the following week after he had a concussion that made him forget what day it was!
Is he milking this or is it legit?
I know from what I have been hearing that Tice thinks he should have already been back 2 weeks ago! What we've got here is failure to communicate.
