Ranking the new head coaches: Childress #3
Click below for the entire article;3. Brad Childress, Minnesota: He assumed control of a pretty good club after Mike Tice was fired. His horizontal approach to the passing game meshes perfectly with the knowledge and skill of his veteran quarterback, Brad Johnson. Childress, who served as Andy Reid's offensive coordinator in Philadelphia, also should tighten things up considerably after the many off-the-field distractions of last season.

The other hack put him in as #2.
At least he's consistently in the top of the seven.

I should hope he is one of the top rookie head coaches considering the fact that he was the consensus #1 choice in the off-season and was courted by a number of clubs. It's just that we got in first and didn't let him leave!

Our first choice, to remind you, was Gregg Williams - until Danny Snyder threw big $$$ at him to become assistant head coach and Joe Gibbs' right-hand man and stay with Washington.

Why is everyone so high on Herm Edwards? It only took him 4 years to destroy the Jets, and the talking heads think he is a god!
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Herm Edwards isn't a NEW coach...he shouldn't even be in the article!
As for putting Linehan in front of Childress, that's just the sports media twisting the knife in us as usual...
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

It's a little-known fact that David Byrne was highly recruited out of high school to become the Notre Dame QB, but, instead, chose the life of a rock star to the life of a Heisman Trophy hopeful."whackthepack" wrote:
