Randy Moss Retiring
AdamSchefter: Filed to ESPN: Future Hall-of-Fame wide receiver Randy Moss has decided to retire rather than continue playing, agent Joel Segal said.
Very sad day as a Vikings fan. I loved Randy. This belongs in the Vikings forum, not the general NFL. Randy is a Viking for life. #84 will be retired before long. I wish we would have brought him back for a 3rd shot. The last time was not his fault. I wish you well Randy. Thanks for the memories!
Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

Re: Randy Moss Retiring
Its sad yet at the same time its not. If Moss showed more effort last year he would probably have been signed by now its the same thing that happened in 2006. This is entirely his own doing.

Re: Randy Moss Retiring
Well I think he could have helped us for a year or two but I guess it is way more important to sign washed up QB's than washed up WR's so I guess this is good bye and good luck.

Re: Randy Moss Retiring
All BS aside, he was one hell of a fun cat to watch play the game when he was in his prime.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

BS. I bet you he plays again this season. Someone will pick him up. He's only 34.
Skol!
Go Vikings!

Separating the player from the man... he'll be missed as he was a ton of fun to watch in Purple. I still remember the eletricity that hung in the air every time D.C. threw it deep... all just waiting for Moss to do something incredible on the other end...
The true measure of a man is what he'd do knowing he'd never be found out.

Re: Randy Moss Retiring
That was my first thought as well. Someone gets injured in training camp or early in the regular season and he signs by Week 3 or 4.
