Raiders to release CB Hall

Wow, I say why not? I don't think too many people would complain about having Winfield and Hall on our team....
But I highly doubt it...

Re: Raiders to release CB Hall
YES!!! I wanted him before.
More INTs and tackles than any of our CBs. What an addition that would be!

Re: Raiders to release CB Hall
Is he better than Griffen?
hey both suffer from the same syndrome. They are always in position but never can make the play.
I think athletically, he is improved as he is a more fluid prospect, however, he probally wants to go to the Pats or Giants. I would like us to bring in Huff if he gets cut.
Sharper leaves, Huff and Williams start with Johnson battling one of them for a starting spot eventually.

Re: Raiders to release CB Hall
he has the speed and quickness to make up for mistakes.
countless times, Griffin plays a big cushion and gets beat for about 6 YAC.
If Hall gave the same cushion, he could probably cut those yards down a couple.

Griffen gets a similar treatment but offenses will have taken a lot more shots at AW. Basically, Hall has had more oppotunities to come up with plays. You guys should know me, I'm all about improving. However, this guy is overrated in my eyes. The only thing i remember about him is him getting spit on by TO after getting beat like a rug. However, with our pass rush he may be an upgrade but not enough to warrent his asking price and attitude.

Re: Raiders to release CB Hall
no, he is a little baby and has been getting eaten alive this season. He isnt worth the money he is gonna want. I would have rather gave up a pick for Lito Sheppard or Fabian Washington in the offseason.
And screw Griffin, put in Gordon to start and see what he does, at least he will try to stop the pass to the receiver.

Re: Raiders to release CB Hall
Are you guys joking?
This guy was traded from the Falcons when they had a new coach come in and then released from one of the worst teams in the league. This tells me he was not let go only because of his performance but also because he is probably a terrible team mate.
So no to any player that gets dropped like a hot potato twice."There is good and there is evil. And evil must be punished. Even in the face of Armageddon I will not compromise."
