    Quotes From OTA's

Lots of good stuff but one that concerns me.
    :

Q: Can you elaborate on what is going on with Winfield?
A: I really don't know. You'd have to ask him that. He hasn't been here in the offseason program, and that's guys' prerogative. As I mentioned to you, this is the time of year when you get a chance to enhance the foundation that you laid last year and see what we've added. I think it's an important time to spend time with your teammates and coaches. Our players know how important this time of year is. When you've had 96 percent of your guys here throughout the course of the offseason program, I need to focus on the guys that are here working hard.

    VIKINGS BEGIN OTAS

Some more stuff that has been in other articles but I haven't read this tidbit anyother place:

    One for the highlight reel

Tarvaris Jackson and Adrian Peterson connected on one of the better plays during Tuesday's practice. The play occurred during a seven-on-seven drill when Jackson scrambled out of the pocket to his right. Linebacker E.J. Henderson was covering Peterson perfectly, but left him when Jackson began to leave the pocket. Seeing that Peterson was left open, Jackson lobbed a pass over the outstretched arms of Henderson and Peterson made a nice one-handed grab and ran the ball up-field.
I wonder how many times this will happen during the 2007 season?

I didn't have EJ and our weak Pass D in mind when I made that comment

I think EJ is fine. Good to see that in practice so our new D-coord can coach them out of that type of sillyness.

My optismism here is based on how he got juked by two relative rookies because of thier percieved capabilities, which by the way seem to be more than just a perception.

I know some are still naysaying, however, we do have some threats on Off now, be they abit raw and "Unproven" in places but with some coaching, creative playcalling, and staying with the scheme, they should be able dictate situations to the opposing D and get them in a re-actionary mode to our offense vice the D dictating situations to our offense the game is won.

    Re: Quotes From OTA's

Q: With those two around, what do you see Mewelde Moore's role being?
A: I think it's still too early to say what every guy is going to do, where he's going to fit in really at any position
. We have great competition going on. That's what we're looking for. We're trying to bring as much competition to each position as we can, and then we'll let the chips fall a lot longer than today.

i hope thye use him in a R.Bush kind of way, put him out in the slot, move him around!!!

    Thanks josdin00
