Re: Question: Opinions on Kelly Campbell?

thanks... from that discription... he kinda reminds me of a WR we used to have... James McKnight(you guys probably have never heard of him). All the speed in the world... but no hands..."FinNasty23" wrote:
He would have been a 6 with our average recievers so you can judge from there. He is Worse than Nate Burleson, Koren Robinson, Marcus Robinson, Travis Taylor and Troy Williamson. Much worse."ltrey33" wrote:
haha...Fast but a dumbass. Talented but a dumbass. Any other questions?
Would you guys say he is a #2, #3, or a #4? Our current WRs are Chris Chambers, Marty Booker, and Wes Welker...
He would likely be the 4 on your team. He has the potential to be a solid deep threat but whenever we sent him out on deep routes, he wouldn't catch it. He would be wide open with his speed, just didn't have the extra burst to catch up with an overthrown pass like Moss did. Some of that is on Pep, some on Campbell.
BTW... Great pickup with Troy Williamson... I really liked him coming out of the draft... and always thought you guys should have drafted him over Mike Williams. How did he do this season? Did he show alot of potential?

Also, is it just concentration issues? or does he just have horrible hands?
We still have your boy Charlie Baggett... so maybe he can help him. He did some great things with Chambers this year...

Re: Question: Opinions on Kelly Campbell?
He showed potential, actually alot better than i inicaly thought. Ran decent routes and had good hands.
Lacks body adjustment when ball is thrown deep.

Re: Question: Opinions on Kelly Campbell?
Lacks ideal hands and amount of brain cells.
Anyway, have a few friends that are Dolphin fans so I'm pretty familiar with the team. I think Welker is great out of the slot... so I'd think he'd be your #4.
Do you guys still have Derrius Thompson?

And na, we dont have Thompson anymore... we cut him...
Campbell should be a nice #4 for us. Has speed to stretch the field... and if fimiliar with playing with Pep.
How is he on special teams? Can he be a flyer?

Yeah, I remember James McKnight...Campbell is about as good but smaller...which ain't saying much. Just hope that he doesn't pull a Sticky Icky Williams and fail a drug test...he likes the wacky tobacky alot like Sticky Icky does!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Re: Question: Opinions on Kelly Campbell?
in 2004 he was our number 4 behind Moss, Marcus Robinson, Nate Burleson, and then it was him.

I can live with that as a #4 WR. You cant expect to have a Pro Bowler as your #4. And is he in the NFL Drug Program? if so... how many strikes does he have against him?

Re: Question: Opinions on Kelly Campbell?
Have fun with Kelly Campbell. Hope he doesn't score a TD because he will celebrate like he just won the Superbowl. Heck, he will celebrate enough to get a 15 yard penalty even when someone else on the team scores.
BTW, Kelly Campbell is listed at 5'10' 170 lbs.Skol!
Go Vikings!
