Question: Opinions on Kelly Campbell?

Hey Vikes...

Aside from the Pepper question... what are your thoughts on Kelly Campbell? It looks like Miami is about to sign this guy... and I am looking for some information/opinions on him. Did you guys like him? What kind of receiver is he?

Also, I think he missed all of last year... why? was he hurt? suspended?

He is a burner .. fast but small in size. He is supposed to be a funny guy. He had some legal problems last year which is probably why he didn't play.

He was actually released to make room for Koren Robinson

He made some big plays for our team.

I'll be surprised if he passes a piss test, a whole year off and the guys probably high every day.

Yes. Fast. But does some stupid things. Gets stupid penalties.

One dimensional receiver. Fast, but small, gets pushed around a lot. Below average hands. Looks like Flava flav.

He would have been a 6 with our average recievers so you can judge from there. He is Worse than Nate Burleson, Koren Robinson, Marcus Robinson, Travis Taylor and Troy Williamson. Much worse.

He would likely be the 4 on your team. He has the potential to be a solid deep threat but whenever we sent him out on deep routes, he wouldn't catch it. He would be wide open with his speed, just didn't have the extra burst to catch up with an overthrown pass like Moss did. Some of that is on Pep, some on Campbell.
