    Question about our coaching staff

    Do we have any coaches right now with a contract longer than one year?

    i believe the answer is yes... 1 year and some change at this point-haha. the cheerleader coach also has a longer contract... mmmm....cheerleaders....

    The crux of the problem is not the length of the contract, but the value. If Red sells, the new owner will surely hire his own staff. And even if some coaches have multiple years on their contract, the new owner can buy them out for the value is so low. Thats what Red has been doing for several years. Positioning the team for an easy sell. The time is ripe right now. Don't let it spoil on the vine.

    To my knowledge no coach has a contract past the 2005 season right now ( but then again I do not have the contracts in front of me).
    can we clone Bud Grant?
