Brees is not the best QB but you are right that it would be better to have Brees. He is younger and we would have him for more years. But that is not reality, if we are WISHING for QBS you may as well wish all the way and wish for Manning or Brady!!!

At RB - I'm keeping Peterson but I want Chris Johnson as the #2 guy

Favre is great, but Brees is better.

In few words: Drew Brees doesn't have a stronger arm than Favre, but he's more accurate and reliable.

I think they both have very different leadership styles, one works with vets and the other with younger players. Favre brings a playfulness not a motivational aspect to his leadership. You won't see Favre leading a pregame chant like Brees and you probably won't see Brees doing "Pants on the Ground" either.

I think Brees' style works for a younger team, while Favre style makes players like Hutch, Phat Pat, KWill, Winfield, etc. laugh and start enjoying the game again. I can't see Phat Pat getting all psyched up with a Brees chant.

Both are in the right place at the right time to be the most successful.

His age was an issue last year. How did that pan out?
