Vikings Future beyond this season
Yep we beat a decent team in the Redskins. But unless hell freezes over and the pack, eagles, saints just lose out and we win out this season its over. Personally i think the should play either T-jack or Webb. But in all honesty those guys are not the future of the Vikings, Tarvaris may not even be in the NFL next year. I think the player to get, as I have been watchin college football, is Kellen Moore Boise State, they can get him later rounds and use big picks on much needed corners. Moore is somewhat mobile, very poised and accurate. Slightly undersized, similiar player to Drew Brees. He is very intelligent and what the Vikes could order, what to dou guys think.

Problem is, while there might be a point in playing Jackson or Webb to see what you got, Leslie want to rack up some wins and stay head coach for next year and he thinks Favre gives him the best chance to do just that.
Kellen Moore plays vs very bad competition and you cant really put much into him dominating those defences.
To me Ryan Mallett is an excellent player who needs some grooming in order to start, but he has all the right tools to run a run first offense.. But we should really know if Bevell or someone else is gonna run the offense next year in order to start picking out players that would with our team.

PUT IN JACKSON!

Let's not get the cart before the horse (draft horse).
We have a lot of needs and QB may not be the most pressing.
If Favre stays healthy and the team improves, he could be back next year. It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.

QB Hunt, where the Vikings stand!
Right now, the Vikes seem to be just on the outside looking in at getting a "legit" QB in the draft. Thoughts?
Draft Order as of Week 12 2010:
Carolina Panthers 1-10 Need QB
Buffalo Bills 2-9 Fitzpatrick? Need or Don't?
Cincinnati Bengals 2-9 Don't
Detroit Lions 2-9 Don't
Dallas Cowboys 3-8 Don't
Denver Broncos 3-8 Don't
Arizona Cardinals 3-7 Need
San Francisco 49ers 3-7 Need
Cleveland Browns 4-7 Don't
Minnesota Vikings 4-7 Need
Top QBs taken from random draft site:
1. Jake Locker Washington
2. Christian Ponder Florida St.
3. Ricky Stanzi Iowa
4. Nathan Enderle Idaho
5. Pat Devlin Delaware
6. Colin Kaepernick Nevada
7. Jerrod Johnson Texas A&M
8. Andy Dalton T.C.U.
9. Greg McElroy Alabama
10. Taylor Potts Texas Tech
Cam Newton wasn't in there, IMO the guy goes pro this year.
Edit - Also, Taylor, Keenum, Dieker, Tolzien, Mustain and Weber
Edit - Mallet, Luck, Moore
Right now the top three seem to be:
Newton, McElroy, and Locker
Don't forget to Vote in the poll.

Luck, Mallett, and Moore didn't crack the top 10? Huh...

Re: QB Hunt, where the Vikings stand!
Mallett looks like a stud. There should be a couple good qb's in the '11 draft.
