Thread: QB

Does anyone think that the Vikings should draft a QB? Possibly Josh Harris from Bowling Green, Jeff Smoker From Michigan State, or John Navare from Michigan. This may be the last year for Gus.

yeah, we've had a revolving door of backup qbs, and it would be nice to have a solid backup year in and year out

Jeff Smoker could turn out to be a reliable back up and we could probably get him in the 7th round.

A QB would be nice, having a backup who has given himself a concussion from headbutting a stadium wall scares me!

This is not a need this year. As of now, we have an excellent back up. Bottom line, Daunte is the man and we won't be looking for a QB for some time.

VMAN, Should have taken a QB. Smoker is a gamer. And although
I hope I am wrong, I believe our starting QB concerns will be
much greater than we think by the end of the 2004 season.
Don't put you bankroll on Daunte yet... Very Risky.

i was praying we wouldve taken navarre from michigan in the 6th since im a huge michigan fan and gus wont be there for much longer
