Purple Pride...gone?
After the Jets game, the Vikings have been left helpless....anyone think that they simply won't "try" for the next game (eventhough it's their rival) and lose it? I know Green Bay is also helpless too...but Farve's last game is this Thrusday, so I think it's right to expect Packers to go all out. I think the game will just simply mean much more to them than us.
*no need to mention St. Louis*

I can't see him retiring before he gets the TD record, to be honest.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

I like to think they always try. Maybe that is just me wanting to get what I paid for, but there is no need NOT to try.

Purple Pride is NEVER gone!!!
Compromised some but not gone.
I think we will come out strong against the Pack but in the same respect I believe the Pack is going to come on with the same vengeance.
Nothing would satisfy the Pack more than beating us twice.
I hope that our defense is strong and that coach gets TJack in early enought to make a difference.

I think they'll go all out. I have a hard time believing they won't be motivated against the Pack.

We can't worry about that game until after we take on the Pack.
They have to be the focus this week.
Perhaps something great will come from this game and we can practice hard and be prepared for our meeting with STL.

Re: Purple Pride...gone?
The thing that pisses me off is that they knew the importance of these last few games going into them.. We had all the momentum with that early turnover and quick score yesterday against the Jets.. Our secondary allows the Jets to come right back and tie the game.. Then it turns into vintage Brad Johnson..
We need 10 yards for a first down, he throws it 5 yards.. If we need 15 yards for the first down, he throws it 10 yards.. I am so sick of his stupid little dump passes that turn into nothing at all.. That guy is scared to throw it downfield because he even knows that he doesn't have what it takes anymore.. I am not being negative, but this season is pretty much over for the Vikings.. We go into Lambeau thursday night with both of us at 6-8, it will most likely turn into a battle of who gets the better draft pick..

No.
The may not be a s pumped.
But I think they will play hard considering their is a new QB.
We will beat St. Louis.
