Yeah, it’s only June. But for die-hard Viking fans who look forward to training camp at the end of July, it’s never too early to start predicting the 53-man roster....

Somebody i could see dropping from this squad is Naufahu Tahi and replaced by on of our young receivers

The Vikings only kept five WRs heading into the 2007 season, and the core was much less established at that point. With a better all around core, why keep six? If they do keep six, Jaymar Johnson and Justin Surrency are the front runners, but expect both to wind up on the practice squad.

The Vikings kept 9 offensive linemen last year, and they love having depth at the line of scrimmage. Dan Mozes, Brian Daniels and Drew Radovich could also sneak in the mix here.

He is correct, they kept 9 but the LS was included in that group.

* David Herron and Rufus Alexander are on the fringe here, but the Vikings will probably roll with the six veterans.
