With Organized Team Activites officially underway, the battles for position have officially started.
The Vikings don't have a lot of intrigue as far as who the starters are going to be in many cases, but the battle for roster spots should prove to be fairly interesting at a few positions.
We'll start by taking a look at the quarterback position....

There are several teams that will be releasing QB' s before the season starts because they are overloaded, or because someone has basically lost their spot. Teams like Tampa Bay, Atlanta, Baltimore, along with some better known names like Losman, or Pennington.
Barring injury Jackson and Booty are locks, but I am not convinced that our 3rd QB, and probably the short/long term back-up since Booty is more of the long term project is not on another team right now. Now I am not saying they will come in to "beat out" TJack but I think their will be some much better QB's out there as a solid to decent #2 that will be available and if nothing else push TJack to be better. Worse case scenario can come in and do a decent job if TJack is hurt or very ineffective, can fill in the gap for Booty if he iends up being the long term answer.
