I agree. But we're not even sure he'll get cut.

He did get hit heard. He would probably get hit less if he learns not to studder step in the back field. I like Bennett but he still hasn't learned his position to well. He doesn't hit the holes the way he should. Sorry that is just how I see it.
bennett never got hurt in the backfield that play was a good run that was a real nice play but it was a freak kinda late hit by the niner guy bennett was lokkin awesome in the preseaoson and u all know it

Bennett=napolean kaufman. Bennett is a guy that should be coming off the bench to be a spark to the running game, a change of pace back, like kaufman was. Bennett IMO, will never be a feature RB, that carries the ball 25-30 times a game, and I think we all hate the stupid running back by committee crap.

I would try MM and fason and let them compete for the feature spot and use bennett off the bench for 5-10 touches a game. Let onterrio rot in he!!.

I think fason is our feature RB of the future and you all might be suprised that the future ends up being this year. Watch out for him, becuase he is a heck of a RB.

The problem with that is, we can't count on onterrio, to allow him to be our feature back. We can't give a guy, that is eventually gonna get caught and suspended(maybe already), the majority of the work in practices.

We have plenty of good RB's IMO, and onterrio needs to be cut ASAP, along with cambell.

Word on the street is, the redskins might cut chad morton, for cap reasons, so I would sign morton to replace onterrio. Morton could then be our return guy.

I wouldn't be so sure. We're technically not allowed to cut someone because of substance abuse problems, and if we try, the Players Association will raise a big fuss.

If we do cut him, it'll be in training camp, so that tice could say that he wasn't up to standards.

    Thanks PPE for the sig.

You mean like the cowboys did with quincy carter? I doubt the PA could really say anything, considering the great depth we have at RB. It would be easy to say we didn't need onterrio, so we cut him.

I like that idea. But what I think we be better is if we rotate C4 and MM. Like your idea before, give Jimmy K. a few carries every once in a while for chagne of pace. Then when MM or C4 comes in and takes a carry, the defense is off guard because they were used to the power of Jimmy K., but they got speed instead. Thoughts?

Sure. Except IMO the speed guy should be Bennett. Just not ready to write him off yet. Third down back (once they surpass Moe) should be C4 or MM.

Bennett will still be the feature back in this offense if he is healthy, which means there is no room for Onterrio Smith at this point.
