The Vikings announced their eight-man practice squad this afternoon. All of the players were with the team in training camp. The unit includes:

    * DE Martail Burnett, DE, rookie, Utah

    * G Brian Daniels, G, first year, Colorado

    * Leger Douzable, DT, rookie, Central Florida

    * Jaymar Johnson, WR, rookie, Jackson State

    * Tim Mattran, C, rookie, Stanford

    * Darius Reynaud, WR, West Virginia

    * Marcus Walker, CB, rookie, Oklahoma

    * Albert Young RB, rookie, Iowa
Hmmm, couple of suprises in there isn't there.

I really thought it would be ........

    John David Booty (QB)-
    Albert Young (RB)
    Jaymar Johnson (WR)
    John Sullivan (C/G)
    Chase Johnson (OT)
    Leger Douzable (DT/DE)
    Brandon Sumrall (CB)
    Steve Hauschka (K)

    Shows how much I know.

    Yeah, what the hell!?
    Why didn't Sumrall make it?
I thought he showed in the games that he had some real NFL potential.
I guess he needed to make some more plays or something. ???
Rock out with your cock out!!!

Maybe we all had him overrated if he wasn't even good enough for the PS and he hasn't been picked up. I wasn't buying into him at first bet he really looked good at the end

I felt it was kind of sad to see Rufus porter not make it.

He honestly would have to go to a tem that was desperate for WR's. Not saying he is bad but he is at this point nothing but a career back up. Another reason why The NFL needs to make a real investment in a true minor league system and not a Euro league. Nance will probably end up in a arena league(I really hope one comes back to MN) or in the CFL and probably have a really good career.
