Driving Directions:

DIRECTIONS TO RAPID PARK TAILGATE AND PARKING

From the West - 394 East
Take 394 East to Minneapolis and follow the downtown exits. Take the 6th Street exit. Turn left at 2nd Avenue at the 6th Street light. Proceed one block and turn left on 5th Street. Go one block to the stoplight at 3rd Avenue North and turn left. Rapid Park is on the right.

From the West - 94 East
Take 94 West to the 4th-7th Street Exits. Follow the signs for 7th Street. At the stop light, turn left and follow 7th Street for 3 stoplights. Turn left on 5th Street North. Turn left on 3rd Avenue North. Rapid Park will be on your right.

From the East - 94 West
Take 94 West and follow through the Lowry tunnel. After the tunnel, take Exit 55 (Olson Memorial Highway). After the exit, take a right on 7th Street (the first stoplight). At the second stoplight, follow 5th Street North to the third stoplight and turn right onto 3rd Avenue North. The entrance for Rapid Park will be on your right.

From the South - 35 W North
Take 35 W North towards Minneapolis and follow the signs for downtown exits and 94 West. Merge on 94 West and follow through the Lowry tunnel. After the tunnel, take Exit 55 (Olson Memorial Highway). After the exit, take a right on 7th Street (the first stoplight). At the second stoplight, follow 5th Street North to the third stoplight and turn right onto 3rd Avenue North. The entrance for Rapid Park will be on your right.

From the North - 35 W South
Take 35 W South. Exit on 94 West and follow through the Lowry tunnel. After the tunnel, take Exit 55 (Olson Memorial Highway). After the exit, take a right on 7th Street (the first stoplight). u guys are soooo lucky. I am all the way in Houston and I have only been to one Viking game here in Houston.

Exactly how far of a walk is it from the Dome to Rapid Park?

I always park at the 1st parking ramp off exit 234B, so I'd be at the dome 1st.

Is there a shuttle FROM the dome TO Rapid Park early in the morning?

If so where do you get on the shuttle?

As I say in the post....there is free light rail and free shuttle buses all morning back and forth to the dome. Wait, so you mean to...yeah, I am sure you can hitch a ride to the tailgate. For sure on the light rail. It is maybe 12 blocks away or so...a bit far for walking...

Not familiar with 234B in particular, but you mean the ramp with green trim to the south of the dome or the one to the east?

It would be to the east to blocks from the dome. Between 5th & 6th Sts.

I wonder if I start walking now, maybe I can make it down there in time for the game? :lol:

I will try to be there. My bro thinks its a little sketchy but I will try to make it. Hopefully we can understand that map.

The guy from the consierge is telling me about it. How he knows is beyond me. My Dad seems more interested so this looks good....

i don't know though. Seems far away. We will see.
