    Potential buyers of the Vikes?

    Interesting...

While I would prefer Glen Taylor as our new owner mainly because he is a home-state guy and moving the team under his watch would seem very unlikely, it would be nice to put all of these talks of selling/moving the team to rest and get an owner who wants to invest in the future of the MINNESOTA Vikings.
    Even babies know the difference.

I agree one hundred percent. While I would love to have Glen Taylor buy the Vikes, anybody has to be better than McComes who I really think wants to move our Vikes. I would hope that this new group would have some respect for the fans that pay their bills and fill the seats. It would be a travesty if the Vikes moved from Minnesota. I mean you might as well have the Omaha Packers or the Los Angeles Bears. It just ain't RIGHT!

oh you cynic !!!! lol but yes thats always a possibility. Of course if they also valued the team at the same level as Taylor then it could work against Red and make it harder to get the figure he's looking for
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

If they would make an offer that was acceptable to Red they still have to get league approval. Tom Clancy bought the team but could not get the approval from the league and Red ended up getting the team.

Unless you are worth Billions, and if this guys business had sales of 315 million I don't know if he has the wealth to get league approval.

Red just likes to hear his own voice, he can't move the team and he knows it. He also likes to think it's worth $200 million more than it actually is. Nobody is going pay his asking price until a new stadium is built, and a new stadium won't be built until Red is out of the picture.

I think you have a good read cheesefree, I hope you are correct.
If he can get Taylor to buy for 450,000,000.00 sell and walk away with 200,000,000.00 in 6 years (not bad work if you can find it).

If Red can get Taylor to buy the team he has said he would contribute 100 million or so to a new stadium. With his contacts and him being an excongressman, he could probably get the stadium deal to go.
