Possible quarterback options for the Vikings in 2010
http://www.kffl.com/static/nfl/features/freeagents/fa.php?option=QB&y=2010
So I like most Viking fans am mulling over the whole Favre fiasco going on right now and decided to scope the web and see which quarterbacks will be available for free agency in 2010. Philip Rivers is probably going to be the most highly sought of them all, the next two likely being Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger. Unless all three of them sign extensions, which of the three would you most like to have under center for the Vikings next season (assuming Favre retires for good and doesn't play more than one season), and which one would be the best suited for our team? Also, which quarterback do we/would we have the best chance of picking up?
I would say that each respective team is going to do all that it can in its collective power to re-sign their star QB, but my gut tells me that if the Chargers have a disappointing season that Rivers could seek employment elsewhere where he could win a championship. Maybe the Vikes? Maybe not. Keep in mind that if the NFL and the NFLPA cannot reach an agreement then next season would have no salary cap, and we all know how the Wilfs love to roll to bring in the best players to win.
Thoughts?

Rivers.
Doubt any of them become free agents though.

It will be hard to draft Tebow at the #32 draft position.
Campbell and Clemons could be a maybe.
Clemons is going to be the odd man out with Sanchez, But I think he may end up being a decent QB. Campbell doesn't get alot of respect but I think in a solid QB.
Delhomme depends which one shows up this season and if the Panthers are willing to let him go. See no chance of Eli, Rivers or Big Ben going anywhere, but it could happen. I think it also depends upon what weapons they put around them.
Eli is loosing a big target ion Plax. Rivers has not much besides Gates and the RB out of the backfield. Desite that he puts up great numbers. Imagine what he could do with a even better set of RB's(yeah I am homering over AD/Taylor vs LT and Sproiles) but it is a fair argument. Plus with Harvin,BB Possibly Rice coming back and Wade that is a huge upgrade over the SD WR.
