    Possibilities

Every Colts win makes the possibility of Vikings picking number one overall more of a reality. I think Colts have caught some fire, while we have proven to the world we have too many holes to win games. If we pick number one overall, is Luck ours to keep? Or do we take a King's ransom for him?
    None

I say we take the kings ransom as we have to many needs at this point..granted Ponder has struggled as of late, but who wouldnt behind that offensive line?

I would pick Luck, trade Ponder and build from there.

Tough call here. I say trade the pick. I don't want to give up on Ponder so quickly, especially since he has virtually no help. I wanna get Bowe in free agency and draft Kalil and an OG, see what Ponder does then. If we get the top pick, I think we need to either trade the pick or draft Luck and then trade him because in addition to drafting OL, we need a big DT, a CB, a MLB, S, and Kicker. Too many needs.
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

Thats a pretty hard decision ,nevermind we are the Vikes If we trade him he would become the next Peyton Manning ,if we keep him expect a Jamarcus Russell 2.0
    El underdog.

Except there were a ton of scouts, football higher-ups and talking heads that thought Russell would be a bust from the get go. There are virtually none of those with Luck.

We HAVE to take Luck and trade Ponder for whatever we can get. This is not "giving up on Ponder" this is simply saying "Sorry kid, but there is something better."

What is Ponder's upside in this league honestly? Maybe a Joe Flacco. A solid quarterback who has a handful of really good games here in there that can win with the right pieces around him.

What is Andrew Luck's upside? Legendary and hall of fame caliber.

It is not even close here. If we get a shot at Andrew Luck and decide to move the pick or trade him. We will regret it for a long, long time.

I wouldn't put a cap on Ponders upside, he's still a rookie, but Luck is more likely to reach the elite status.

If we are lucky enough to get Luck, we do it. Keep Ponder for a bit, cause we wont get jack for him now.

I would be willing to guess that teams that had him rated a second-rounder last season would still consider him that or better ... so we could at least get that I am thinking. Just a guess though.
