Re: positives
And let's face it, the Lions are a very good team. Heck their QB says they're gonna win 10 games this year and the announcers agreed with him.

Re: positives
We did good, only 2 negatives were OLine and the QB, and the QB only needs to fix a few dessision (ffs I can't spell it) making things and we would have done fine.
God damn it offense is killing us.
We need Chester.

Re: positives
We only have 14 games left this season.
I feel sure we can win 1 or 2 of them

I don't know if it was that bad, but it was awful biased towards Det. The bogus facemask call, the no call on CJ's push off in the end zone.... come on. oy vey. we always seem to be on the wrong end of the calls."BadlandsViking" wrote:

Tarvaris through 4 picks and Peterson wasn't utilized half enough.
The officiating late in the game was some of the worst I've ever seen. We should have cheated, we may have to pay $250,000, but at least we'd get the "W"Trying to bring rationale to an irrational site

Re: positives
There are still 14 games to go (season didn't end today)
Defense had a strong game even against a very good passing offense.
Strong pass rush
No major injuries
Only one game out of first place ;D

Re: positives
I thought JC Pearson did a nice job relaying the comments Sharper made about Red Zone defense.
Meaning, Sharper indicated he thought the Kitties would get lots of yards, but that the Vikes would create problems in the Red Zone...they did.
AD catching the ball.
Greenway flying around.
Ray Edwards.
Henderson Blitzing.
Special Teams played well...with the exception of the missed FG

Re: positives
No use pissing about the officiating - ain't gonna bring us a victory. Let's control what WE can control.

Please post in post game thoughts this gets too confusing my head is already spinning after this tough loss.We have a lot of football to look forward to this year. Yes there will be some tuff games. We may lose another in overtime?
We did take the ball away from the lions 5 times.
1 inche to the right on Longwells kick and we win!
A.Peterson looks great for a second game rookie.
The lions had less then 50 yds rushing.
too many negative nancies already run amok in there, nice to have some positives too.
Mostly because we were SOOOOO close to stealing one.
We shot ourselves time and again, and had a last dying chance to walk out with a win....and blew it.
I like Peterson...a lot.
It's too bad we stopped using him in the 2nd half.
I like the William's boys.
I like Ray Edwards (gotta watch those late hits though).
I thought Mewelde Moore played well today.
I still like Longwell....one inch to the right and...
I loved the Sharper and Smith INT's in the red zone.
Talk about stealing points.
And I'm still a huge Antoine Winfield fan (didn't hear his mname much today...they were too busy humiliating McCauley).
But, does any of this outweigh the problems I saw (again) today?
No.
I'm still a die-hard fan...and maybe that's why this ticks me off so much.
Oh well...there's always next week.
