    on the positive side...

I am also very dissapointed with the first two games, but we were put into some tough situations---

Week 1- we had a rookie starting at gaurd, which ment we had no rushing room, so we had to relay on pepper. And when a team knows the offense has to pass, it makes passing much much harder. also, pepper had no time to pass. Even though we played bad on offense, we had a good chance of winning late in the forth.

Week 2- On the second play of the game, the bengals scored on a 70+ td due to a misassingment. Then for the offense, we gave them the ball right back on a fumble. Then they went on to score. So we were down 14-0 on the road. so, dante and co. felt like they had to score and fast, changing their game plan. So daunte forces one in and its picked. Then we can't stop them and we fall down more. so we force it more and they score more.

I'm not trying to say we are fine and dont need to change anything, but people saying we are done, and thinking about who we should draft are wrong. this is still a very talented team

No doubt, the Vikings are a very talented team.

Another positive note is that if you like to have a regimented life and you don't like surprises, the Vikings are your team...as long as they keep up their pattern from the first couple of games.

I dont think discussing a player to draft is wrong. We're lookin at a week point on this roster that has been for a couple years now. The RB position.Nothin wrong with gettin a head start lol, but you made some good points. We got a tuff road ahead of us, and how we finish the season will say alot about who we are as a team. Right now the injury bug is startin to bite us. So lets see who will step up. I havnt given up and I know 99% of the people on this board havnt either, gotta fall down to get up.

I can only say, Dante's INT's came from some tipped balls, can't really blame him...as for the rest, Bengals took the wind out of our sails quick enough, so changing a game plan to play catch-up sux, now for the rest...just damn!!

ya when you go down 14-0 nothin in a matter of minutes on the road, u feel pressured to play catch up. and Bennett fumbling does not help.

We are still 1 game out of being tied for 1St place, Green Bay lost & there has been no Green & Gold Trolls on this site to the best of my knowledge.

The pass across the middle was his fault along with Nates. You cannot "float" a ball across the middle like that. He must throw it with a downward angle.

Both tipped balls were VERY poorly thrown, the one Burly tipped could have been a 25+ yard gain if thrown in font of him instead of three feet behind him, and he was only five yards away and Daunte missed by that much ...
