Last year he walked into our house and beat us by almost 3 TDs. 0 turnovers on top of that on the road. In our playoff year. He can't be worse! And it's not like their asking a first rounder.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

I guess that would mean football is no longer his girlfriend.

Ponder barely out gained Sydney Rice 63 to 25 in the Seattle game last year. Rice threw a nice end around pass. Plus he had more 20 yard completions too haha. Ponders longest completion was only 14 yards.

The news is that inside the locker room, Ponder is on a short leash. No more information was given.
Leslie Frazier Never Thought to Bench Christian Ponder

"I wasn't thinking (of changing quarterbacks)," Frazier said Monday, via ESPN.com. "After the interception, I just wanted to make sure that he was right mentally -- not concerned or just going over and over that interception. I wasn't thinking we needed to take him out. I just wanted to make sure he settled down."
I can think of a pretty short leash and Ponder from what I've seen in the last year isn't on it and if this staff is willing to sink with Ponder than I guess next years coach will be in the hunt for a new QB.....hopefully we don't end up with another interim coach getting the position and a real search is made.

Shouldn't the quarterback be concerned about interceptions? He should not dwell on them, but being concerned is a good thing.

Yeah you want to make sure there is enough room mentally for the next interception.

After the Packer game last year in Lamebeau, Frazier said it didn't occur to him to go to Webb mid way through the 4th quarter with Ponder hovering around 50 yards.

After seeing Webb play against the Packers in the next game I think he had a solid point.
