Adrian Peterson was as wide open as anyone has ever been in the NFL.

Standing all alone in the end zone, the Minnesota Vikings running back waved his arms emphatically as Christian Ponder dropped back to pass.

Ponder never saw him, instead throwing the critical third-down pass in Kyle Rudolph’s direction despite safety Donte Whitner being draped all over the big tight end.
I was wondering why he didn't throw it to him also. It's not like he was way across the field from K-Rud.

Was it because he didn't see him or make his reads or because he tends to lock on K-Rud & Harvin because he trusts their abilities to catch the ball?

It will be nice to get Simpson back and see what we will do offensively on passes.
