They just showed Ponder throwing a couple of short passes while warming up at Lamblow. He was basicly playing catch.
Didn't look good. Looked like he couldn't fully straighten his elbow.
The clips I saw at practce this week showed him throwing left handed and the report was that he didn't throw at all this week.
    Hope it's a ruse but I think it's legit.
Packers can be run on so if Webb has to play, this seems to be the team for him to play against.

    Great read, thanks.

I just have a feeling Ponder's elbow is worse than advertised and that we will see Webb early. Just a hunch, not a wish.

Had a hunch...let's go Webb!!! Skol Vikings, Let's Go!!!

Ponder is a pussy. I have seen High School QB's play with this injury, and if a RB in the NFL can play with a knee injury or ankle sprains, a QB should be able to play with this injury.

With that being said, maybe this is a good thing. The Packers have been preparing for Ponder the whole time, Webb is a different type of QB, maybe that will throw GB off. This will either be really good, or it will be a train wreck. Hope it turns out to be really good, but have my doubts as the Vikings have been letting me down for the past 25 years.

I'm much more comfortable with Ponder than Webb as the starter, but if GB didn't prepare for Webb at all then it will be interesting. Any time that Webb prepares as the starter he seems to falter.
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

Without Ponder, we have no chance.
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

    Agreed

I wasn't feeling good at all. This may shake it up. Last year Kentucky started a WR at QB because there was no one left. We beat Tennessee for the 1st time in 26 years

    I'm all in
I've been a Viking fan since I was just out of diapers, hopefully we get Super Bowl win before I go back in 'em.
