Thread: Police Departments fight over Mixon's SUV

I just read on the Star Trib. web site that two police Departments in MN are fighting over who gets the money from the sale of Mixon's 2001 GMC SUV that he was driveing when he got busted for his last DUI. :drunken: They say Kelly Blue Book on it is around $30,000. Someone might be able to get a deal on it if they ever decide wicth Dept. will get the money from it. And it goes to auction. I just thougt it was funny that they are fighting over it. :lol:

Hey, if the police can make a little extra money by getting drunks off the road, more power to them. I just hope they don't make any more money off the Vikings.

I agree with you on that :!: They should start takeing cars away from the Drunks here in WI :!: Seems like some of them just never learn their lesson about drinking and driveing.

I agree 100% Vike58. It seems like everyday someone is getting busted for that crap. And I live in a town of only about four thousand people!! But I guess when there is at least 5 bars in every town, no matter the size, that is to be expected!!

well he can still fight to get the veh. and i bet if one of the depts. get it it gonna have some cool new decals on the sides with a nice light bar on top. doubt they would let that one go to an auction.

back on the topic. what is the law in this instance? why did he get his rig jacked by the fuzz? it's a good idea though. if they nabbed EVERYBODY'S ride for a dwi, there would be a lot less of them
