Is this post just put here to set us up for the "WR's- please catch the ball next week" post? ;DIs it just me or did it seem like we were constantly passing the ball to the TEs? Garrett Mills did a good job but he shouldn't be leading the team in passing yards. Also, we kept throwing it to Shiancoe but the guy just couldn't hold on. Going to the TEs from time to time is great but what about the wide outs???
Common sense would tell me that after a few drops, you should look somewhere else for a little while...

Re: Please Pass The Ball To The WRs This Week!!!
The problem is TJ becomes less accurate the farther he throws the ball.
Even the PI call would have been a hard catch.
The other "so call" PI that wasn't called, would have been a miraculous catch as it was behind on the wrong shoulder.
I think it's important to make some 20+ yard catches to draw safeties away from the LOS.
They don't regularly double cover BB or Rice, as the D doesn't have respect for TJ's ability to throw the long ball.
As for the short throws I really don't care if it's a WR, TE, or RB as long as they move the chains to give AD another 2 shots at breaking a big one and wearing down the D.

You are right.
But I would like to add that we should also throw to AP. We need to get AP in SPACE (the way that the Saints get Reggie Bush in Space); and the lack of our ability to do this is seriously starting to anger me and frustrate me to no end. If I see another game of us running AP off tackle or those draw plays, I am going to lose it.

See post 481 or nfl.com for play-by-play.
With a quick glance there were 8 passes to RBs, 18 passes to WRs, and 10 passes to TEs.We're bringing purple back.

I think we need to put Jared Allen at TE and have him play D only on passing downs.
Rock out with your cock out!!!

This would work really well for goalline or short yardage situations, but I'm not so sure about all the time. Plus, if you only put JA in on passing downs, any time he's in on a down that isn't 3rd and long, the Offense will know you're playing the pass.I think we need to put Jared Allen at TE and have him play D only on passing downs.

If we can't use the long to set up the run, do the opposite.
I got faith in our team.
Its better to lose the first game than the last one.

The D focuses on AD.
If they set up in an I formation then motion AD into the slot receiver.
Then they run a reverse or double reverse it would confuse the D.
Probably won't work but it would at least make it unpredictable. Right now the use of AD is pretty predictable.
Chilly's system shouldn't be called CCC "Chocalate Chip without the Chips" (otherwise vanilla)
