Player Analysis Defense & STs
Allen- Started slow, but KILLED it in the end.. Was impressed
Kevin- BIG down year.. seems to be regressing.. I hope he can rebound. He is a monster at times
Pat- I really don't care to have him around anymore.. Over the hill
Edwards- Solid year.. Would like to keep him.. He just runs his mouth too much.. I think he will get a nice payday somewhere besides here however
Everson- Solid kid.. Would like to see more before I can say much about him
Robison- Looks alright.. I have felt he could start.. And he probably will next year.. But im not as high on him as others
.
EJ- Had a very good year.. More then I expected.. Sometimes overran plays or had mental lapses.. But much more then I thought he would do
Leber- Not as high on him as I was.. Solid in coverage for a LB.. But was even more quiet then he usually is IMO.. Replaceable easily if we go that route
Greenway- Love the kid.. He is an absolute beast.. Enough said
Erin- Solid ST'er
Heath- Solid ST'er
.
Winny- Would love it if he was healthy all year.. He's a real playmaker
Cedric- I hope he can make it back.. 2 bad injuries in seperate knees is scary.. He looked solid in his very little time
Asher- Looks promising at times.. Looks HORRID at times.. I hope the D can get more pressure next year and help the kid out
Frank- Looked solid besides the last game.. Wouldnt mind having him around as a 4th or 5th
Lito- Basically expected him to suck.. And he didn't really show me anything to prove that wrong
Cook- I wanna see what the kid can do
.
Madieu- Cut
Abdullah- Love the kid.. He's gonna be good.. Our only consistant safety
Sanford- Would love to see him take over for Madont.. He has skill
Tyrell- Has never really done much and I don't expect him to ever
Frampton- Love him on STs.. IMO might be our best ST'er now behind Heath
.
Longwell- Seems to lose some on his KO's.. But of course had a solid year kicking
Kluwe- Was very very very good this year.. Probowl year IMO
Add what ya wish! All done so now I go back to being bored

Re: Player Analysis Defense & STs
Not saying we should cut these people necessarily, but I feel they are people we could get by without, or upgrade.Naturally you can't upgrade them all n one season so many will stay.
Madieu Wms.
Pat Wms.
Asher Allen
Ben Leber
Sheppard
Walker
Ray Edwards
Tyrell Johnson

Madont- CUT
Pat- Look for another option.. But please don't keep Kev in a 0 Technique
Asher- I think with solid pressure he could be a solid 3.. Im thinkin Cook will take that spot tho and he will be back at 4
Leber- I think he can walk.. Wouldn't be hard to replace.. Like the guy tho
Sheppard- He will be gone
Frank- If he wanted to be a 5th im ok with that
Ray- Will get paid somewhere else.. We will go with Robison
Tyrell- Decent back up and ST'er.. Not expendable
Heath- I think is still our best ST'er..

Re: Player Analysis Defense & STs
I think Leber will be quite hard to replace, he is very well liked by the team and you rarely find those kind of allround linebackers who can blitz, cover and tackle.. I think we should do what we can to hold on to our linebackers.

I still think he is average.. But we have other needs and other people to resign
I think Jasper (even though he is a MLB truely) or Erin can fill in and we wouldn't notice
IMO he was that quiet this year

Re: Player Analysis Defense & STs
Interesting read alright, but not a very optimistic one. We definitely need help and I would like to start with the center, need bigger and stronger as Sully is getting thrown around by NT's.
