My guess is he's looking for a kick-off return guy. I don't think he's too confident with the hands of Williamson after he already fumbled one away.

    you are absoluty right http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/maurice_mann
there is his page his main position is wr/kr he has 4.37 speed and is from the same college as nate burleson (nevada) he also is one of the top hurdlers in the country
In NFL terms, is 4.37 fast?

I agree how funny its is how things have developed between Seahawkes and the Vikes but they better not snatch Carter from us. I think he has earned a rosterspot and instead he is signed to the practicesquad. What a bummer! I was quite nervous the first days after the put him there.

I dont know the exact rules of the practicesquad but isnt he safe now since he cleared the wawers (?) for some days after he was put in PS?

well u can say @ least they arn't holding back on making decisions, i'm sure MauriceM
can only be an upgrade, esp if he's willing and goes over the center.

i like having a fast compliment to T.w..and he seems not as breakable as pinky was.
i still hope we keep J.c
we need a Carter on the team!!

If a team wants to sign him to their active roster, they can. That's how we got the WR from the Seahawks. The only way we can be sure to keep Carter is if he's on our 53 man roster, which is where he belongs. I'll be really ticked if someone else signs him.
