Vikings nose tackle Pat Williams has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl team as the replacement for injured Chicago Bear Tommie Harris. Williams, the first alternate among NFC defensive tackles, will join Vikings tackle Kevin Williams on the squad.

Pat Williams was a key reason the Vikings were able to hold opponents to a team-record 985 rushing yards. That total is the second-lowest since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970. Williams had 59 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 14 quarterback hurries and five passes broken up this season.

The Pro Bowl will be played Feb. 10 in Hawaii. Vikings offensive linemen Matt Birk and Steve Hutchinson also will play in the game. The four representatives will be the Vikings’ most since 2003.

Now if the rest of the Pro-Bowl voters could just get thier shite together and vote him in rightfully next year, justice will be served.

Alright! That is so sweet. The big fella deserves it. He is a beast and a huge reason why we have such a great run defense. I just hope he has a few more years left in him.

I think we all knew he'd end up going, with the injury to Tommy Harris and all.

I just wish Winfield would get in one of these days.

He deserves it thats for sure.. He should have been going in the first place, not because someone is injured.. Injustice I tell ya..

the thing that sucks most about this is that I'll have to watch that game now.

Our whole D line should be starting in the probowl IMO.
