I guess they were hoping to beat the blitz and get a big run inside. But I would never have called a run in that situation.

I sit here in amazement if these coaches are that dumb. And with two or our timeouts gone because they were used on ist and second downs earlier in the half. It just doesn't make sense. If I see a draw play on this series I'm hunting Tice and looney downs

the reason they ran it was to get more time off the clock. imagine if that hadn't done that draw. the packers would have had time to try and drive the field. i think it was a smart consertative call.

I disagree my southwestern friend. If they get the first..then they can run another 2 minutes off the clock or get the Packers to use up their time outs...but alas it all worked out in the end.

aren't too many plays for 3rd and 13. yah in a perfect world we would be able to get and run it down and not force our defense to stop them again, which they did of course :grin:
i wasn't pissed about the play call i was pissed about that b.s holding call!!! that was some lame @#%@
