It's great news, but as we all know contracts don't mean shit in this day & age. 2 years from now he could hold out for a new deal or demand a trade.
Don't think it will happen, just saying contracts aren't a sure lock.

The other thing to consider is that it is back loaded and if his production drops off in the next 3-4 years we may be looking at having to cut or trade him in order to meet the cap space if he isn't being productive enough to justify his salary so he may not end up finishing his career here anyway.
