Re: Peterson Poised for Prolific Performance?

    The odds are against us.

    Team demoralized by Childress.

    No Randy Moss.

    Flaccid D line.

    Same old O line.

Harvin with ruined ankle and maybe a Childress-induced headache.

    Porous secondary.

The only question is.........can Hank Basket save us?

(His wife is really mad at him and took the kid and left for California.)

The best we have is a fifty-fifty chance.....and I think that's being generous.

I will say, I'm pumped to see what Peterson will do, but he's not going to break his game record. That's a thing, where you don't break it against shitty opponents, its a random occurance. For example, at the time, the Chargers were the #8 Run D. Playing terrible teams does not equal records. We've just gotta play our balls off against everybody, and you never know.

The Bills are pretty special though.

Against the Jets I don't think they made contact with a running back within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage.

They're several levels of magnitude beyond bad as far as run defense goes. On average they're giving up 189 yards per game on the ground.
