Re: Peterson needs to learn how to hold onto the gol 'darnit ball!!

it really does come down to his running style..

there were 3 times yesterday that he was pushing 2-3 kittens for an extra 2-3 yards.. during those moments u can see their hands trying like mad to get to the ball. he did do some great work there holding onto it. sure.. in some instances he's more vulnerable.. others.. are made by Great D players doing great plays as they are paid to.

remember he's not running against mid-low end talent.. he's going against the best of the best in the game. no coach is gonna put a mid-low end talent to tackle AP..

i don't see his fumbles being something to be overly concerned on.. and with the ability to put Ct in there for a play or two so he can regain that focus after say loosing the rock.. he comes back in with the same.. i'm gonna run over you attitude.. this for me is the important part.. sure u made a mistake.. get out there and forget about that and be confident to in what you can do and do it.

if he can keep this.. then i'm just fine with AD and his running style!

Just thought this was funny... ESPN's staff are morons, as if we didn't already know that:

My understanding is that the fumble goes to the last person to have possession; when the bad exchange happened between TJ and AD, it (the fumble) goes to TJ.

That's what I thought but I kept hearing the Vikings commentators refer to Peterson's "multiple" fumbles.
