I am not going to debate fumble/no fumble.....here is what I will say

Dumb move

Get your ass and the ball across the goal line and don't leave anything to question

Man ive been searching articles to see if peterson was ripped on it.

look at his shadow, it is cast at nearly a 90 degree angle, almost parallel to the goalline, and the tip of his toe has not yet past the goal line, i can't imagine he was holding the ball out past his toe to break the plane.

Given the fact his arm is in front of his foot it would be hard to say he fumbled the ball.
His foot is within a couple of inches from the line and the ball just came out.
AP is not T-Rex and I am sure the hand is about 1 1/2 feet - 2 feet in front of his foot.
I agree he needs mot to throw the ball in the air at that time because it does leave question.
But unless someone has a side view to me this is indisputable and should be ruled what it was on the field.
