Re: Peterson Dropped the ball at the 1

That is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves.
Just carry the ball all the way in!

    That was really close.

Was anyone else dissapointed that Peterson was in the game at that point?
I wish we would've had Taylor in right there.
I bet he would've got a TD as well because it was really well blocked.
    Taylor wouldn't have made it.
    He's not that fast.

It's close, but it still looks like he crosses the line first, and there's also a couple officials down on the goal line watching from yards away.

Since the refs called it a TD it would have been inconclusive to overturn it.
There is no way to tell from either of these angles whether or not the ball crossed the goal line.
I will say he needs to be more certain before chucking the ball in the air.
In any case he does need to be more careful.
If he did happen to throw it before hitting the endzone that could have been costly.

As far as CT vs. AP I will say this.
I was angry when AP fumbled and I wouldn't have been angry if he was benched.
Whether or not CT could have taken that to the house I think he could have.
CT has broken a 95 yard run which is something AP hasn't done.
Is he as fast as AP?
    No!
However, most of their defense was up on the line so all he had to do was beat 1 or 2 guys.

I agree. Just carry the thing another few feet, what does a football weigh, a pound more or less?

There was another game that someone dropped it noticably before the goal line. I forget if it was college or pros.
Ironically, it was the Eagle's Jackson, the rook rec. in the Mon. Night game vs. the Cowpies.
I believe they lost the ball and may have lost that game by one score.
Prob. the diff. and they deserved it if it was.

I can't see how anyone could tell if AD was not in the EZ from that camera angle.
    Hate that stuff too.
    Very stupid!!!

Actually they still scored a TD on that drive so it didn't efface the outcome what-so-ever.
    But you are correct.
AP needs to be more careful.
I could give a rats ass about D. Jackson or someone on another team.

My bad, i thought the Cowpies recovered it.
Only Vikes and Boston Bruins games get my undivided attention.
